Website Rental Frequently Asked Questions
Your offer appears too good to be true, what's the catch?
There isn't one. At Appear First we practice the age old computer expression of 'What You See Is What You Get'. We have no hidden fees or catches to tie you into a contract. We believe we have a fair and clear pricing system that allows our customers to pick and choose exactly what options they would like on their website and to be able to change those at any time.
How can your websites be so cheap?
We automate as much of our internal processes as possible, so we can repeat processes quickly and cost-effectively. Our prices are clear and honest, there's no hidden fees or costs. Don't confuse cheap for affordable - we offer quality websites and a solid, professional, service but we do it at a very affordable rate because we can.
If Appear First build me a website, what part(s) of it do I own?
Appear First will retain ownership of your rented website including design, coding, domain name, logo/branding unless you already had ownership of any of these aspects (e.g. you came to Appear First with an excising logo and/or domain name or you paid a third-party to create an aspect of your website for you).
Can I really cancel at any time?
Yes you can. If you decide that renting a website from Appear First is not for you then just let us know and we'll cancel your subscription from the beginning on the next calendar month. There is no tie-in or lock-in, no cancellation fees or any other catch.
What sort of support do you offer?
We offer various management service levels to add and change content for you. Alternatively you might wish to change it yourself using our Content Management System.
If I leave Appear First can I take my website with me?
If you want to stop renting a website from Appear First then you can negotiate a fee to purchase any part(s) of your website that Appear First own. We believe in being very fair when it comes to purchases from Appear First but we would obviously have to work something out on a case by case basis.
